Mountain View Cottage is a traditional farm worker’s cottage with stunning views of the island’s mountains and sleeps up to 8 people. The accommodation comprises of:
- Large Sitting room
- Kitchen/Dining room
- Bathroom
- Additional separate WC
- 5 bedrooms (2x double, 1 x twin, 2x singles).
The cottages have a TV and DVD player but there is no broadcast TV reception available on the island. All bedding and towels provided.

Catering options for Cottage – £50 per person per night
Wherever possible and subject to seasonality etc, island ingredients are used including the outstanding Weddell Island beef and lamb as well as locally grown vegetables and caught fish. Meals are tailored to how you wish:
- Breakfast – all foods provided in your cottage
- Lunch – In The Lodge or a packed lunch
- Dinner – In The Lodge or your own cottage. Includes three courses and wine.
Island Tours available
A complementary ½ day tour of The Loop Nature Reserve is provided for groups of four or less who book for three or more nights.
Outside of these parameters and subject to availability, tours would have to be pre-booked at the same time as accommodation and cost £90 for up to 4 persons.
